Course Description:

A two-day course, which is designed especially for those who decided to carry a defensive firearm for their defense. Fortunately, the legislation in the Czech Republic allows us to do this, but there is no space devoted to this issue in the arms license tests. This course will show you your limits, possibilities and, above all, prepare you for possible unpleasant life situations where it really is about the health or life of you or your loved ones.

Contents:

Day 1. Threat identification. Conflict prevention. Communication in a conflict situation. Principles of concealed carry, drawing from concealed carry. Basic reactions to threats and physical attacks. Defense adequacy gradation: verbal, pepper defensive spray, firearm. Use of pepper defensive spray and firearm in close contact. Knife defense techniques. Analysis of necessary defense and extreme emergency. Analysis of post-conflict responses,  including communication with security forces.

Day 2. Model situations. You will participate in short scenarios in which you will verify your responses to conflict situations. Scenarios are recorded on camera and then evaluated for efficiency and proportionality of your responses to the Czech legal system.

Recommended equipment:

Day 1. Gym shoes. According to the gym where the course will take place sometimes we practice on tatami. In that situation, you need to train barefoot. Clothing for both days we recommend the type in which you normally walk and allows concealed carry of gun. Gun  and holster for concealed carry (both can be borrowed by agreement). Mandatory PROTECTIVE GLASSES for both days. The first day after the course is possible to take a shower.

Day 2. Outfits that allow concealed carry. Given the environment in which the course takes place, there is a high probability of soiling clothes. Adjust clothing to outdoor temperatures and weather. PROTECTIVE GLASSES mandatory.

Weapon:

For all participants, the second day of the course will be free to borrow our FX Simunition Glock 17 training weapon including holster and cartridges. ESP training pepper sprays are also available.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the training area, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00.

Accommodation and food:

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. If the course is held at the shooting range Oleško or in the vicinity, you can use modern accommodation 200 m from the shooting range. More information can be found in the Services section of the accommodation page. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day.
