Course Description:

Discover your shooting skills on a whole new level with the Dynamic Rifle 4 course. You will learn precision rifle marksmanship and techniques for shooting with a semi-auto rifle at distances up to 300 metres. You will experience dynamic shooting at 100 meters from a variety of shooting positions and stances using cover and support. This course will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to accurately zero your rifle and shoot effectively at longer distances. The content of the course builds on Dynamic Rifle 3, therefore it cannot be taken without first attending the DR3 course.

Contents:

Introduction of instructors and safety instructions, survey and evaluation of the knowledge and habits and unifying weapon handling and repetition of skills earned on the Dynamic Rifle 3 course followed by very precise zeroing of the rifle on 25/33/50/100 m, developing advanced skills as the multiple techniques of long range shooting with semi rifle, the final shooting complex exercise.

Recommended equipment:

Marker, paper and pencil (for notes; you can also use mobile phone), ruler. Comfortable civilian or tactical clothing and solid outdoor or sports shoes (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, shooting goggles, hearing protection (headphones, earbuds ...) and magazines holster or plate carrier with the pouches for the magazines. If you intend to shoot with ammunition other than the standard 9 mm Luger, .223 Rem, 5.56 NATO or 7,62x39 on this course, please also bring 5 pieces of dummy ammunition designed for dry training and weapon handling. You need to know the ballistic coefficient for the cartridges you will use and the height of the sight for the weapon. The ballistic coefficient is denoted BC and should be listed on the manufacturer's website. There are two ballistic coefficients, G1 and (newer) G7, so you also need to know what type the one you found is. Measure the height of the sight from the center of the chamber to the center of the glass or the top edge of the front sight.

Weapon:

Semi rifle + 2 magazines and 300 rounds. 9 mm rifles and carbines are not recommended.

If you do not own a gun or would like to try a gun other than the one you own, we are able to provide you with gun with ammunition and other accessories. Please click on your chosen course date and you will see a full list of weapons available for that course date. In the first section you will find complete packages which always include a rifle with two magazines, kydex magazine holster, eye and hearing protection and the number of rounds needed for the course. If you bring your own factory ammunition, you can choose to rent the gun only. A complete list of these, along with the option to order the ammunition itself, holsters, or perhaps protective equipment, can be found in the sections below.
