Course Description:

Urban Sniper is an extension of the Basic Sniper course, focusing on advanced techniques and tactics for precision shooting and sniper deployment in urban environments. This course not only enhances your shooting skills at short, medium and long distances with a bolt-action or semi-auto rifle equipped with an optical sight, but also includes training in movement and camouflage in urban areas, such as buildings, their surroundings, and parked vehicles. Acquire the necessary skills for effective movement, concealment, and shooting in complex urban landscapes, and elevate your abilities as a professional sniper to the next level.

Contents:

Making of the shooting and observing posts and camouflage in/at buildings and vehicles, snipers urban movement, situations sketching and distance estimating, zero confirmations of the rifle, shooting from/to the vehicle, shooting the target behind the window, final scenarios.

Recommended equipment:

Tactical or sport clothing and footwear (this equipment should be suited for any weather conditions – goratex), ear protection, bean bag, shooting pad or tarp to isolate yourself from wet or dirty ground, sniper scarf, pen and pocket book, calculator, knife, ripcord, tape, you can bring also the ghillie suit and about 2×2 m dark canvas or something to make dark background.

Weapon:

Sniper rifle .308/6,5/.338 caliber or equivalent with 80 rounds. In cause your weapon is not zeroed please bring more ammo with you.

If you do not own a gun or would like to try a gun other than the one you own, we are able to provide you with gun with ammunition and other accessories. Please click on your chosen course date and you will see a full list of weapons available for that course date. In the first section you will find complete packages which always include a precision bolt action or semi auto rifle, hearing protection, all important equipment and gear and the number of rounds needed for the course. If you bring your own factory ammunition, you can choose to rent the gun only. A complete list of these, along with the option to order the ammunition itself, holsters, or perhaps protective equipment, can be found in the sections below.

Law:

There is no need of firearms license, background check or criminal record copy to attend this course. There is no restriction on lenght of semi auto rifle barrels. You are allowed to use high capacity magazines. Silencers, weapon mounted lasers and flashlights are legal in the Czech Republic.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the shooting range, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00.

Accommodation and food:

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day.
