Course Description:

This is the American Police Basic 50 hour Special Weapons And Tactics – SWAT – Course as authorized and approved by POST – Police Officers Standards Training. Your Instructors for this course are PROFESSIONALS.  We do this full time for a living – not as a business.  It is our responsibility to SAVE LIVES every single day we go to work!  You will learn not only the fundamentals and basics of SWAT but you will learn from our many years of combined Police & Military combat experience around the world!

Contents:

Basic theory and practice is taught so as to allow the students to understand and execute the tactics and techniques needed to approach, breach, enter and secure a building in a tactical manner.  Initial approach to building, breaching of doors and windows will be shown and executed by students. Initial reconnaissance, scouting of the target and tactical considerations will be discussed and taught. Building domination – both dynamic and stealth – clearing of stairwells, hallways and rooms in teams of 2-12 men will be taught.  These operations will take place both day & night and in all weather conditions. Use of ballistic shields, chemical munitions, smoke, diversionary devices and other equipment will be stressed. Low-Light operations will be taught, conducted and evaluated.

Mechanical and ballistic breaching tactics will be demonstrated to and practiced by each student – multiple times. Vehicle Assaults will be conducted on automobiles (narcotics buy/bust operations), trucks, buses and passenger train coaches.  Vehicle control/domination and hostage rescue tactics will be stressed during this training. Planning, coordination and successful execution of team tactics will be taught, evaluated and focused on for this course. 

Live Fire Shooting will focus on the safe and effective use of handguns and rifles in a tactical environment.  You MUST know how to shoot both rifle & pistol before attending this course – we are not here to teach you to shoot, we are here to teach you to shoot better!  A major focus of our live fire range training is moving/shooting with a ballistic shield and rescue operations. 

Be prepared for some very long days – well in excess of the standard 50 hours.  We will train to Standard…NOT to time!

Recommended equipment:

Comfortable civilian or tactical clothing or combat uniform and solid outdoor or duty footwear (both adapted to the current weather and outdoor temperatures), belt, you can also bring your own kydex or plastic hand gun holster placed on the strong hand side and covering the trigger guard for Glock 17 GEN4/GEN5, holster for spare magazine, plate carrier or any complete ballistic protection with an AR15 magazine poches, helmet, shooting goggles, kneepads, tactical gloves and gun mounted flashlight. If you do not have anything from mentioned gear, bring just only the clothing or duty gear based on your civilian or Law Enforcement/Military daily usage. No need to buy expensive tactical gear just for course purposes. This is not compulsory on this course.

If you would like to try out modern ballistic gear and equipment, we are able to provide modern plate carrier including ballistic plates and magazine pouches, high end ballistic protective helmet Galvion or some other tactical equipment and gear. Weapon:

There will be our training FX simunition wepons (H&K416, AR15, H&K MP5 and Glock 17) with the holsters and slings available for all the participants for 4 from 5 days of the course.

For range day you need pistol with 2 magazines and 200 rounds + Rifle with 2 magazines and 200 rounds (We recommend You to bring more ammo) + holsters and pouches for the magazines. In cause of using subcompact pistol (G42/G43 etc) please bring at least 3 spare magazines.

If you do not own a guns or would like to try a gun other than the one you own, we are able to provide you with gun with ammunition and other accessories. Please click on your chosen course date and you will see a full list of weapons available for that course date. In the first section you will find complete packages which always include a rifle or pistol with two magazines, kydex pistol and/or magazine holster, eye and hearing protection and the number of rounds needed for the course. If you bring your own factory ammunition, you can choose to rent the gun only. A complete list of these, along with the option to order the ammunition itself, holsters, or perhaps protective equipment, can be found in the sections below.

Law:

There is no need of firearms license, background check or criminal record copy to attend this course. There is no restriction on lenght of semi auto rifle barrels. You are allowed to use high capacity magazines. Silencers, weapon mounted lasers and flashlights are legal in the Czech Republic.

Timing:

Meeting at 08:30 – 08:45 am at the car park of the shooting range, the subsequent administration and preparation of equipment and materials. The beginning of class is at 09:00 and the end around 18:00.

Accommodation and food:

Accommodation is not included in the course fee, each participant provides and pays for it himself. There will be a 30 min lunchtime meal time. We recommend you bring food ration for the outdoors and enough drink for the day.
